1. Brevity (簡潔であること)----World Gogyoshi is very easy for readers to remember, to learn by heart and to whisper if five lines are brief, concise and short. The brevity is harmony between words and silence. World Gogyoshi isn’t wordy but brief. Poets of Gogyoashi can use omission of words and use short lines for brevity of World Gogyoshi. Shakespeare in UK said, “Brevity is the soul of wit.” in HAMLET about 500 years ago. Brevity is the soul of World Gogyoshi.


2. Ease of understanding(理解しやすいこと)---World Gogyoshi is very easy for readers to understand if it has easy words, simple sentences and spoken languages.


3. Ease of reciting(暗唱しやすいこと)---World Gogyoshi is very easy for readers to recite if it is brief, understandable and rhythmical. All poets can create their rhythms freely by themselves. Short lines are easy for readers to recite. Both the poet and readers can recite the World Gogyoshi without reading it if it’s a nice World Gogyoshi.


4. Originality(独創的であること)---- World Gogyoshi is very original if it has new materials or new angles in it. Originality of World Gogyoshi is as important as that of all arts in the world. World Gogyoshi respects mother tongue, original expressions, and hometown words.


5. Universality(普遍的であること)----World Gogyoshi is very universal in the world if it can move most of readers over borders. World Gogyoshi can cross borders through English because English is a common language of the world now. Universality of World Gogyoshi is as important as that of all arts in the world. World Gogyoshi respects Universality and Friendship in the world.
