Exploring the Multilingual Poetry of Suad Al Kuwari: “A New Door For Entry”
Suad Al Kuwari, a prominent Qatari poet and the coordinator of the World Poetry Movement (WPM) in Qatar, has recently unveiled a collection of her poems in English, French, and Spanish. This multilingual anthology, titled “A New Door For Entry”, offers readers a rare glimpse into the diverse linguistic and cultural landscape of Al Kuwari's poetry.
Published by Al-Sharq in Qatar, the translations were meticulously crafted by esteemed poets Dhafer Aydin (English), Abdel-Ghani Boumjid (French), and Yamina Hokoum (Spanish). Through their collaborative efforts, Al Kuwari's evocative verses have been skillfully rendered into three distinct languages, enriching the accessibility and reach of her work.
